Local CDL-A Driver

Lone Star Freight Lines is hiring three Local CDL-A Drivers in Houston, TX. You will run day routes between the Port of Houston, rail yards and warehouses around the city, and sleep in your own bed every night. What you will do: - Haul containers and dry van trailers on local routes, about 4 to 6 loads a day - Do pre-trip and post-trip inspections - Keep accurate logs on our ELD - Work with dispatch to stay on schedule - Report any truck or load problems right away About you: - A Class A CDL and at least two years of tractor-trailer experience - A clean driving record and a current DOT medical card - A TWIC card, or able to get one (we pay for it) - Safe, reliable and on time What we offer: - $26 to $30 per hour, plus overtime after 40 hours - Home every night, weekends off - Medical, dental and vision insurance from your first month - 401(k) with a 4% match and paid time off - Safety bonus every quarter How to apply: create your Fiondr profile, upload your resume and tap "I'm interested".
