Overnight Caregiver

Evergreen Home Care is hiring two Overnight Caregivers in Portland, OR. You will stay overnight with older adults who need someone close by at night, mostly people living with early dementia or recovering after a hospital stay. What you will do: - Help clients get ready for bed and up in the morning - Help safely with bathroom trips and turning during the night - Watch for changes in health or confusion and call our on-call nurse when needed - Give medication reminders and make a simple breakfast - Write a short note for the family and the day caregiver About you: - At least one year of caregiving, at home, in a facility or with a family member - Oregon home care worker training, or willing to complete it in your first month (we pay for it) - Calm, patient and comfortable staying awake and alert overnight - Able to pass a background check What we offer: - $20 to $22.50 per hour, including a night differential - The same clients each week - Paid training and paid sick leave - A nurse on call all night if you need help - Health insurance for staff working 30 or more hours a week How to apply: create your Fiondr profile, upload your resume and tap "I'm interested".
