Breakfast Line Cook

Copper Kettle Diner is hiring two Breakfast Line Cooks in Austin, TX. We serve breakfast all day to about 300 guests on a weekend morning: eggs every way, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and migas our regulars drive across town for. What you will do: - Work the flat-top and egg station during breakfast and lunch service - Cook every plate to our recipes and get tickets out fast and hot - Prep potatoes, batters, sauces and sides before we open - Keep your station clean, stocked and up to health code - Help with closing breakdown and weekly deep cleans About you: - At least one year on a breakfast, brunch or short-order line - Comfortable with a rush and able to keep 10 or more tickets moving - A Texas food handler card, or able to get one in your first week (we pay for it) - Reliable for early starts, including weekends What we offer: - $18 to $20 per hour, plus a share of the tip pool - Daytime hours, home by 3 p.m. - Free meal every shift - Health insurance after 60 days - Paid time off that builds from your first shift How to apply: create your Fiondr profile, upload your resume and tap "I'm interested".
