Certified Nursing Assistant (Experienced)

Bayshore Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is hiring three experienced Certified Nursing Assistants in Clearwater, FL. We care for 120 residents and short-term rehab patients, and our CNAs work side by side with our nurses and therapists to keep every person safe, comfortable and treated with dignity. What you will do: - Help residents and patients with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and incontinence care - Take and record vital signs, and report any change in condition to the nurse right away - Transfer, position and walk residents safely using gait belts and mechanical lifts, and follow fall prevention plans - Keep residents comfortable and their rooms clean, safe and organized - Follow infection control practices and document care accurately in our electronic health record - Communicate kindly and respectfully with residents, patients and their families - Mentor newer CNAs on your unit About you: - An active Florida CNA certification and current BLS/CPR - At least three years as a CNA in a skilled nursing, long-term care, rehab or hospital setting - Confident with safe transfers, Hoyer lifts and fall prevention - Careful, accurate charting - Compassionate, dependable and a strong team player with nursing staff What we offer: - $19 to $23 per hour based on years of experience, plus $2 more per hour on nights and $1.50 on weekends - Three 12-hour shifts a week - Medical, dental and vision insurance after 30 days - Paid time off from your first paycheck, plus 401(k) with a 3% match - Tuition help toward LPN or RN school - Consistent assignments, so you care for the same residents each shift How to apply: create your Fiondr profile, upload your resume and tap "I'm interested".
