Junior Software Developer

Bluepeak Software is hiring a Junior Software Developer for our product team in Boston, MA. We build scheduling and billing software used by about 1,200 small clinics across the US. Our team is 14 engineers, and every new developer is paired with a senior engineer for their first three months. What you will do: - Build and ship features in our web app using TypeScript, React and Node.js - Write clear SQL and work with our PostgreSQL database - Write tests and review pull requests with your teammates - Fix bugs reported by our support team and talk to customers when it helps - Join planning and demo sessions every two weeks About you: - At least one year of programming experience, from a job, internship, bootcamp or your own projects - Comfortable with JavaScript or TypeScript and the basics of HTML and CSS - Curious, happy to ask questions and able to explain your thinking - Experience with React, Node.js or SQL is a plus, not a must What we offer: - $78,000 to $92,000 a year, depending on experience - Hybrid schedule: Tuesday to Thursday in our Back Bay office, Monday and Friday from home - Medical, dental and vision insurance, with 90% of premiums paid - 401(k) with a 4% match and 20 days of paid time off - $1,500 a year for courses, books and conferences How to apply: create your Fiondr profile, upload your resume and tap "I'm interested".
