Copper Kettle Diner is hiring a Pastry Chef in Austin, TX. You will run a section of a busy scratch kitchen and help shape the menu. What you will do: - Run your section during lunch and dinner service - Prepare and plate dishes consistently to recipe - Help plan seasonal specials with the head chef - Order stock and keep rotation and labeling tight - Train and support junior cooks on your station About you: two or more years in a professional kitchen, calm under pressure and proud of consistent food. A food handler card is required.
