Apartment Maintenance Technician

James River Property Services is hiring two Apartment Maintenance Technicians in Richmond, VA. We care for six apartment communities with about 1,400 homes, and our technicians keep them safe and comfortable for residents. What you will do: - Complete work orders for plumbing, electrical, appliance and HVAC repairs - Get vacant apartments ready for new residents - Do preventive maintenance on buildings and grounds - Respond to emergency calls during your on-call week - Talk with residents in a friendly and professional way About you: - At least two years of apartment or property maintenance experience - Basic plumbing, electrical and appliance repair skills - Your own basic hand tools and a valid driver's license - HVAC or EPA 608 certification is a plus What we offer: - $20 to $25 per hour, plus on-call pay - Medical, dental and vision insurance after 30 days - 401(k) with a 3% match - Paid time off and paid holidays - Rent discount at our communities How to apply: create your Fiondr profile, upload your resume and tap "I'm interested".
