Diesel Technician

Lone Star Freight Lines is hiring two Diesel Technicians for our North Houston terminal. We run a fleet of 140 tractors and 300 trailers, and our shop keeps them safe and on the road. What you will do: - Diagnose and repair engines, brakes, electrical and air systems on Class 8 trucks - Do preventive maintenance and DOT annual inspections - Repair trailers, including lights, brakes and suspension - Use diagnostic software and record your work in our fleet system - Keep the shop safe and organized About you: - At least two years of diesel or heavy truck repair - ASE medium/heavy truck certification is a plus - Your own basic hand tools (we provide specialty and power tools) - A valid driver's license; a CDL is a plus What we offer: - $28 to $36 per hour, depending on experience - Four 10-hour days available - Medical, dental and vision insurance from your first month - 401(k) with a 4% match and paid time off - $1,000 tool allowance every year How to apply: create your Fiondr profile, upload your resume and tap "I'm interested".
