Part-Time Reading Tutor

Three Rivers Learning Center is hiring four Part-Time Reading Tutors in Pittsburgh, PA. We help children in grades 1 to 5 become confident readers, working one-on-one or in pairs after school. What you will do: - Tutor children in reading and writing using our proven program - Read with students and help them sound out and understand words - Track each child's progress in a simple online log - Share updates with families and the program director - Make every session encouraging and fun About you: - No teaching experience needed. We train you before your first session - Patient, encouraging and reliable - Strong reader and clear speaker - College students and retired teachers are very welcome - Able to pass PA child abuse and background checks (we pay for them) What we offer: - $18 to $22 per hour - Paid training - A set weekly schedule that fits around classes or other work - Real impact on kids in your community How to apply: create your Fiondr profile, upload your resume and tap "I'm interested".
