Tax Associate

Northstar Accounting Partners is hiring two Tax Associates in Chicago, IL. We prepare individual and small business returns for about 900 clients, and our tax team works closely together through every season. What you will do: - Prepare individual, partnership and S corporation tax returns - Gather documents from clients and follow up on missing information - Research tax questions and write clear notes for reviewers - Help with tax planning projects and extensions - Work in our tax software and keep client files organized About you: - At least one tax season of experience, from a firm or an internship - A degree in accounting or finance - Comfortable with tax software and Excel - CPA licensed or working toward it.
