Staff Accountant

Riverside Accounting Group is hiring a Staff Accountant in Jacksonville, FL. We keep the books and file taxes for about 150 small businesses in Northeast Florida, from restaurants to medical practices. What you will do: - Do monthly bookkeeping and bank reconciliations for a group of clients - Prepare financial statements and month-end closes - Help with payroll and sales tax filings - Support our tax team during busy season - Answer client questions clearly and quickly About you: - A degree in accounting or finance - At least two years in public accounting or as a staff accountant - Strong with QuickBooks Online and Excel - Organized and comfortable with several clients at once - CPA licensed or working toward it What we offer: - $58,000 to $68,000 a year, depending on experience - Hybrid schedule: two days a week from home - Medical, dental and vision insurance - 401(k) with a 4% match and 20 days of paid time off - CPA exam fees and review course paid How to apply: create your Fiondr profile, upload your resume and tap "I'm interested".
