Dental Assistant

Lake Eola Family Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant in Orlando, FL. We are a practice of two dentists and three hygienists, caring for children and adults, and we are known for being gentle with nervous patients. What you will do: - Seat patients, review health history and help them feel at ease - Assist chairside with fillings, crowns, extractions and root canals - Take X-rays and digital scans - Clean and sterilize instruments and set up rooms - Explain post-treatment care to patients About you: - At least one year of chairside dental assisting - A Florida radiography certification, or able to complete it in your first 90 days (we pay for it) - Comfortable with digital charting and X-rays (we use Dentrix) - Kind, steady and good at reading how patients feel What we offer: - $19 to $23 per hour, depending on experience - Four-day work week most weeks - Medical and dental insurance after 30 days - Free dental care for you and your family - Paid continuing education How to apply: create your Fiondr profile, upload your resume and tap "I'm interested".
